Good News!

Yes Ladies and Gentlemen your eyes doth not deceive you!

This is the link to my new website which has my teaser/trailer for my new album "HellRazer"

I first apologise for my prolonged online silence but I was busy, I hope you understand.
Secondly I thank you for your prayers and patience, both are greatly appreciated.
I'm sure some of you already noticed but my album cover is different, the reason or reasons
for this change are many but mainly something to do with the song "Horn of the Lamb"
never being written.

Anyway, when my album does come out they will be available on itunes or some other music distribution site akin to that.
But it might be another month or so before I can get that going.
For now I wil have all my songs playing on a radio on my website, its not up yet but it will be within a week or two.

Yes, I know what you're thinking all yee penniless and uneligible for the credit system.
But let me explain my position.
I am not selling this album because I'm a greedy and trying to make money, but rather because
I produced this album without financial backing by any entity, whether it be Tooth and Nail Records
or WS or JTB, this is a 100% independent operation and as such it is a 100% financial burden.
I only hope to cover the initial expenses for this album.
but don't worry someone will rip my music and pass it on, so just be patient.

Ok Im sorry for leaving you all in the dark the last month.
I was very busy.
the album has been going great, Im really happy with the sound were getting and I think you will be too.
We are now in the last stages of vocals and lead guitar overdubs, mixing is 50% done...(i think)
My new web site is also bieng built and the last few details that need ironing out are bieng taken care of.
Im going to get my own domain and hosting so if I have songs to up-load you cant download directly from the site.
Lord willing this album will be done by the beginning of next month but there is a possibily that I will realese it
a few days later.
Once my site is up I might put a teaser for the album up,
so be patient and keep you eyes and ears open, the album is on the way.

I love Jesses little studio decor thinga-ma-jigs he has laying around, the speaker its on is a Event ASP6.

that PVC pipe thingy is a genius thing Jesses dad put up to save on studio space.

the Mic thats hangging from it is a Sennheiser Condenser which we are using for Vocals

that wire running from the guitar jack goes down my pants while I record to get rid of the static buzz. the guitar is Ricks guitar its a PRS Tremontii SE. I love the feel of it, I havent played many guitars that just feel sooo right and this one just feels sooo right.

and that beautiful AMP is my baby, we got a nice tone out of it yesterday when Rick came over, I cant wait to start recording with it.

it is a peavy 5150 eddie van halen model, I think Im gna cry when I have to resale it.

The Mics we are using on this monster are a SM57 and a Shure KSM32 Condenser, which we have running into the RNPs.

Keep Praying this album through. Its been a fight from the start to the till now and we only have a few more weeks.

Mike has come and gone, and by a freak miracle we managed to lay down drum tracks for all 10 songs, pretty good for 2 days and a half if you ask me.

The Lord is really pulling this album through, everytime we hit a bump with this project and all seems lost, he manages to pull it through inspite of hopelessness.

As of now the album looks like it will be complete by the end of february, I wont promise anything because its completly in the Lords hands. So keep praying it through.

I will be recording soon so I will be very busy but I will try to find time to update this thing to keep you guys posted, sorry I was sucha delinquent when I was at the states, but it seems I barely had time for even sleep when I was there, no joke. hopefully I will be posting more pics of when I was there and telling you of some of the adventures and stories of my stay there.

Ok, I will be honest, I havent been working on my album every minute of my freetime.
I still need to have some relaxation and fun. So between recording sessions, lyrics writing, working out, Memorization, the occasional movie, and daily walks with Maria. I make Crossbows. Now these are not toys, regardless of what they may look like, or what they have been built out of. The crossbows I make are actually pretty efficient killing machines....for smaller animals that is, and the amazing thing about it is that I make it out of 100yen store goods, thats right! 100yen store goods.(a 100yen store is basically a dollar store) This crossbow above cost me about 600 yen to make. So its a great hobby for many reasons, like its cheap for one, it keeps my mind working, and the fruits of my labor is sweet! This black one here is the 8th model..I think. and its second to the strongest, the strongest one I made for Dan, but its not as acurate so I prefer this baby. But be not decieved thinking this one is the weaker because it can still shoot a dart through 9 beer cans and fall out the other end. here are a few pics of our latest adventures with this crossbow.

As a sign of good will and for your reassurance that Im not goofing around,
someone wanted me to post a demo of one of my new songs just to keep you all patient but it would spoil the song when it was properly produced.
So for now just take this token of good will.
Its the first of its kind, a HellRazer hat! woopiee! Now this isnt official HellRazer merchandise, but it might lord willing, I just dont have the financial means to mass produce it. unless someone wants to give me heads up where to find a cheap deal for hat making.

I regret to inform you all that the album will once again be postponed.
But trust me when I tell you I am not goofing off and this album has been consuming and continues to consume the majority of my free time. I want this album out more than anyone, so I hope this reassures you that it will get done. Things have been really busy as of late,(Im sure for all of you too) and for lack of time and more pressing matters the album will be released at a later date.
From later this month I will be heading back to the states and will be there for 3 months,for this reason I wont be able to work on the album in a while, so Im tying up the loose ends and tabbing out the remainder of riffs that need to be writen out before I go.
Once again sorry for the delay, please keep me in your prayers as that will make this album come out when it should and how it should.

Thanks again for all those who signed. You have my sincere gratitude.
Well, this post is to reassure you that the album is getting worked on and that your signatures will not be in vain.
I have Shiro working on the cover now, and it's looking awesome(thanks Shiro).

This album will be very different from the first for a few reasons.

1. This coming album will be a mixed album as it will have my songs along with Metal Factory(Shun and Shiro) songs. Of course it will all be Metal.

2. Also my style has drastically changed since last year, from Metal Core to Groove Metal with a touch of Death Metal and maybe a hint of Symphonic Metal in the mix.

3. Also what will set this apart from the last album is the people working on it.
Yo-kun has agreed to play some keys on the tracks, Mike D has agreed to drum for my songs, and Shiro will be drumming the Metal Factory numbers.
Shunnie will be playing all the guitars on the Metal Factory songs and playing leads on my songs.
Phil N. will be recording Mike and Shiro's drumming.
And Finally Steve M. will be giving the tracks the breath of life with his mixing and mastering techniques.

As for when the album will come out, even I dont know. But I assure you if this album does indeed reach completion it will be available for download by the end of september latest ,or the end of august earliest.

Again, thank you musitians all for your help and talent. there's no possible way I could do this without you. And thank you all (everyone else) for your support.

I have been working on my second album for the last 2 months or so, and the time has come for me record it,
but one of the homes that Im going to record it at is rather skeptical about the idea.
Alot of the home members are a little bit hesitant to let me record it as theyre not exsactly metal lovers, if you know what I mean, but I think they will have a change of heart when they know exsactly how many young people like and enjoy this aggressive genere.

Snowboarding

For vaction i went snowboarding yay! it was great fun. it took like a half hour to get it down but once I got it it was smooth sailing from there. man you can get some speed on those things. I mean rollerblading takes energy on your part to get speed, and even then theres a limit, unless your going down hill but kinda freaky because if you fall then you can really do some damage.

but snow boarding is like no fear, you can just speed well almost fly! and if you fall you can just laugh it off and keep going. great rush. good times.

So I have been back in japan for about 3 weeks now,I first went to HCS to pack up my stuff to send here, then caught a plane here (okinawa) Im here at last, with my girlfriend. Its been pretty good so far. anyways, this is a post to thank my 2 little brothers who ever so graciously sponsered a guitar to bounty of dragons, its LTD ESP F-50, I like it. the pinch harmonics squeal like a piggie.and the thrashy riffs sound great on it too, thanks to the ESP humbuckers.

This was AWESOME! we woke up early that morning to help our selves to the squirrels in the oaks with 12gages. I got 2, Jo got 1 but it was the biggest, and the small pathetic malnourished one is James. after we got home we skinned the squirrel we shot and tanned the hides. we have yet to eat the meat, and frankly I'm not too "jazzed" about the idea but dad insists we do.

Ok so I bet youre all wondering where I mysteriously disappeared. Well for the last month I have been in south Carolina and I will be here also for the following month. I am now a deer processor, I know what your all thinking and well its not that bad. my job consists of skinning, butchering, processing and packing. I work on average 10 hours a day. So heres of few pics for those who are interested. (the pics shown were only taken in the skinning part of the process.)

Hail all headbangers and mosh addicts,the moment you have all been waiting for has now arrived.To The Death is officially completed, wow I feel like a champagne right now.My blood, sweat ,and tears has finally paid off, not to mention the days I couldnt talk, ha ha, no it wasnt that bad.6 tracks, ready for downloading and listening for your personal enjoyment.(thats if you enjoy metal....heh heh) lyrics are posted so that you can understand what Im saying in the unintellible parts.I wouldnt advise listening to this at loud volumes in public areas.So if a mad Uncle gives you a piece of his mind in the kitchen while youre cutting carrots, dont say I didnt warn you, this music isnt for everyone, even in the system the ratio of metal lovers to other genres of music is surprisingly low. So excersice prayerfulness as to where and when you play this music so I wont get in trouble, not to say this music is "out of it", but there is a time and place for everything and sad to say it isnt always for metal. So keep that in mind, and we can all be happy metalists rocking on for Jesus.

"To The Death" (my album) will be out by the week end. 6 tracks (too bad I couldnt nail the other ones, but I will post them as singles in the future) I will have them uploaded and ready for downloading come friday.Im happy, theyre sounding better than I hoped. still not up to par with "heavenly music" (not by a long shot) but Im sure you will find the quality satisfactory.
I will have the lyrics for each song posted as well as metal can be quite unintelligible.
Dan has agreed to make an album cover for me (thanks dan) looking foward to how thatll turn out as well.

Ok so the name for my band is kinda desided. brace yourself!........"the bounty of dragons"
Dorky? tell me if you think so. I think its unique as far as family bands go, and I like it.
wondering who the band members are? I havent got the concent of every band member yet,
but basically its razzmatazz. I need a solid band thats familiar with metal to back me,I couldnt think of better than razzmatazz. Shiro apparently is the double kick god as of now. Ben improved his shredding, Shun was always the speed king, and Jo remains unmatched on the 4 stringer (as far as metal goes).
Ben and Shiro still dont know of my plans. but since Shun and Jo are on board the rest of razz must tag along. in case your wondering my album has nothing to do with razz, shunnie is just helping on the leads.

The album name will be "To the Death" I dunno if I should even call it an album, its too small.

Album update.

Ok so I had a bad cold for the last 4 days, I feel very very weak.
but now that I recovered, work on the album is in progress.
I still have a scratchy thraot, so vocals wont happen anytime soon.
wrote a few more rhymes while I was in bed though, had alot of time so they turned out rather well. Steves studio is being used for other purposes and the room the I was using before is far to hot to record in, so here I am sitting on my couch in my room, not ideal for recording, but I have to make do with what I got.
I hope I can finish this project before I go, I have 16 days left.
time is short, health is low, and my comp is acting up. itll take a miracle to get this thing done, pray for me.

Step 2: after returning home empty the icecream into a bowl.
Step 3:carefully pour the rum on the icecream.
Step 4:grab a spoon, sit on a comfy couch, listen to metal, and enjoy your "super rum cup"

Its great stuff, you gotta try this. Its kinda of a weird sensation, it warms your chest, yet you feel somthing cold going down your throat. oh to think that this is only a fraction of pleasure than that to heaven. think on these thoughts as you enjoy your bowl of fire-ice.

ok so the progress on my album as been....lets just say slow. Steves comp rejects my UX2, studio time highly limited, when I do have studio time Im usually too tired to scream, and other forces beyond my controll intervening. anyways if this album works out it will be a miracle. whatever the case is you can be expecting at least some singles or maybe 5 or 6 song realsed together as a mini album, but still not near the fraction of what I originally intended. the quality also, because of the reasons stated above, might be compromised. still I think it will be fairly listenable. nothin too ronchy, I dont think. Anyways this wont be the end, Im not gonna quite metal altogether after this, I will be busy for the next few months but I hopefully after things settle I can start pumping out singles. anyways pray for my and my inspiration and that I can find time to record.

KANDO BANDO LIVE!

Ok so this was at the last summer festival. I rigged up two of steves NT5s 20 or so metres from the stage. and plugged them into my LINE6toneportUX2. with a little bit of steves mastering we got fairly decent sound.
the songs are "Born Free" and "Johnny B Goode" on johnny b goode the piano solo isnt a mistake, if you saw the show you would understand.Anyway enjoy. and dont mind my terrible singing, Florence had strained her voice the day b4 as well, so that explains her tone.

FDTP has got talent

This was a recording done by STEM and Jesse when they were working on the "Heavenly Music" album. but somthing when wrong in the recording of somthing or another(you probably wouldnt notice unless I told you) so they didnt include it in the album. so they never finished it.
anyways FDTP came around and we had a talent night. so each team had to put on a talent show. we were all given seperate topics...and well you know how all that goes.
So us BOBs came up with a great Idea. We used this half done song and put in our own vocals, and we acted and we sang our own parts, like a concert. it was great fun.
we did all the recordings between lunch and JJT and between JJT and get out. thank you Hik for making it all possible! we love you....oh should I have disclosed your name?? ha ha.
we got every one up moshing and stuff, we had a few coreographed dances with sum of the songs and in the breaks. we strapped on guitars, wigs, and cheezy grins for....well the BOBs knew what it was for.Dave had really good cowboy costume and everything.
Mossy played the 80s dude very well. actually we all looked and played our part well.

Welcome to Meditation Moments, I named it thus for the want of a better title....(actually I did have a better title, well I thought so anyways, but it wasnt so....."inspiring".
Anyways.............
My name is Yuichi, more commonly known as Abner. I like metal. I try to make metal. this is my Blog. I will post my metal here. Thank you for visiting, and downloading my metal.
Actually theres more reasons to making my blog apart from posting my metal.

Reasons for making this blog listed below.

1. I was going to get my cousin Oli to make me a site, but I didnt have the time or money.
I was going to have it like my "official site" for posting my music, but it didnt work out, bummer.
So I will post my music here. Plus I dont have to bother other people about advertising my stuff.

2. Im going on a trip to the states soon, and I probably wont have time to write each and everyone of my buddies in Japan (although I would love to). So its a great way to stay in touch.
and I can post some pics of my adventures here and we can all comment on them and stuff.

3. Well I think itll be fun.
